Information pack Project: Successfully Implementing NPSA Guidelines
Client: Norgine Pharmaceuticals Ltd
Norgine Pharmaceuticals is a specialist pharmaceutical company, who develop and market high quality, innovative products in gastroenterolgy, hepatology and incontinence.
Norgine appointed Interaction to develop an educational toolkit for hospitals aimed at educating and advising methods to implement the National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) guidelines and subsequent multi-disciplinary consensus guidelines on the safe use of oral bowel preparations.
The toolkit will help promote Norgine as a partner of choice, and to demonstrate that not all bowel preparations are the same in terms of safety and efficacy profiles.
"We are absolutely delighted by the toolkit produced by Interaction and are now looking forward to rolling it out amongst our sales force. The Interaction team managed to meet a very tight deadline whilst ensuring the copy and design remained at their customary high standard - thank you"
Norgine UK Pharmaceuticals
Speaking about the project Interaction's MD Karen Rowe said; "This is a good example of how industry can work in partnership with the NHS to help achieve targets. The NPSA guidelines are very important but often guidelines can be perceived as simply increasing the burden for individual Trusts. Helping to meet these requirements by simplifying processes and providing the resources to do so, results in a win/win situation for all parties."
Following the highly successful launch of the toolkit, Interaction will continue to work with Norgine throughout 2010/11.
