Interaction shortlisted for the PRCA Corporate Responsibility Award 2010 September 2010 We're absolutely delighted to announce that one of Interaction's unique programmes has been shortlisted in the prestigious Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) 2010 Awards. Interaction developed a novel Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme with pharmaceutical company - Takeda UK - to help raise awareness and funds for the England Amputee Football Association (EAFA). "The PRCA award programme attracts entries from businesses and organisations from all over Europe. To be shortlisted in the CSR sector is a fantastic achievement", said Interaction's Managing Director Karen Rowe. "We're competing against major multinationals such as Tesco and npower, so we're delighted that our programme has been recognised alongside such organisations". "CSR is a difficult area to become involved in. Many companies are afraid to develop programmes, questioning the return on investment. We believe this Takeda programme demonstrates why these projects can be so successful and rewarding for companies at every level. The EAFA charity creates opportunities for amputees and others with limited use of their limbs, to play football at local, national and international levels. |
